Source: Montana Insurance Supplement — Examination Content Outlines Effective: March 2, 2026; Pearson VUE #122703 | 03/2026. Montana administers SEPARATE Property and Casualty producer exams and publishes no combined Property-and-Casualty producer outline: the handbook's "AVAILABLE EXAMINATIONS" table lists Property as "General: Property" + "State: Property" and Casualty as "General: Casualty" + "State: Casualty", so four sections are recorded. (The same table lists a "Property and Casualty Consultant" exam; that is the consultant licence, not a producer exam, and is not recorded here.) Counts are the outlines' own scored-question figures, stated separately from their 5 pretest questions. WEIGHTS: the two GENERAL KNOWLEDGE outlines weight areas in scored-question counts and each sums exactly (Property 22+15+13=50; Casualty 23+15+12=50). The two MONTANA SPECIFIC outlines print RANGES, not single figures, for two of their three areas — Property prints I=25, II="2-3", III="4-5" against 32 scored, and Casualty prints I=25, II="2-3", III="9-10" against 37 scored — so no integer weight the publisher actually stated exists for those areas. Both state sections are therefore recorded unweighted (weight and weightPercent null throughout) rather than carrying a number the outline does not print; the ranges are recorded here instead. One publisher labelling slip in PROPERTY – MONTANA SPECIFIC, the same kind already noted for the Life outline in taxonomy/life-health/mt.json: under I.C "Licensing Requirements" the numbered list runs 1–13, but an unnumbered "A. Business entity" is printed between item 10 ("Eligibility for license") and item 11. It is filed as I.C.10.A, under Eligibility for license, keeping the publisher's own letter — matching how the Life outline's identical "A. Business entity" was filed. The CASUALTY – MONTANA SPECIFIC outline prints the same 1–13 list with NO "A. Business entity" node at all. (Montana Insurance Content Outlines).
