Source: California Department of Insurance Personal Lines License Examination Objectives, 2025 edition, the official blueprint per Cal. Ins. Code section 1677. The document prints no revision date of its own. One Personal Lines examination, 90 multiple choice questions, two hours. THE SECTION IS RECORDED UNWEIGHTED AND THAT IS THE PUBLISHER'S DOING: the Table of Contents prints 'I. General Insurance (32 percent of examination questions and includes Section II below)', no percentage against 'II. Property Insurance', 'III. Personal Lines Insurance (65 percent of examination questions)' and 'IV. Pet Insurance (2 percent of examination questions)'. Area II has no separate allocation by design, and the printed figures sum to 99 rather than 100. Both weight and weightPercent are therefore null on every area rather than partially filled; the figures above are the publisher's exact words.
