Incontestable Clause

Also known as: Incontestability

A mandatory life policy provision stating that after the policy has been in force for two years during the insured's lifetime, the insurer cannot dispute statements made in the application.

“A provision that the policy shall be incontestable after it has been in force during the lifetime of the insured for a period of two years from its date of issue.”
